@ico is back from semi retirement as well.
Also, thanks to @whitestar_999 and @Vyom for their umm... vigilance and dedication

Another year, and we will continue to try and make things interesting around here.

Animated avatars when?

Also, the New Posts block on the left side of the homepage says "<thread_creator's_name> replied" instead of "<last_replying_user's_name> replied". Needs fix or perhaps remove the block altogether?

How about adding mandatory Introduction rule for newcomers.
Gold/Points system and shop to purchase items like glowing usernames,signature,new themes,class promotions etc

^^Mandatory intro rule won't achieve much except for one additional spam/spam-like post.That new posts block issue is there for a long time now & I think it requires tinkering with xenforo addons/CP settings which only @Raaabo & @Anorion have access to. I think priority should be given to google captcha/general question(something like Kashmir is part of which country,Sachin plays which game etc) which should stop spam from Pakistani IPs & some foreign IPs too.

My thoughts exactly. The intro post itself will be spam lol. Can we not blanket ban IPs in the 39.x.x.x range?

Improve emoticon/smiley system. It's not worth using currently IMO.

Isn't there a way to remove xenForo from top left?

The headings are smaller than sub-headings. People post a lot of other buying advice stuff in Mobile buying advice sub-section. Maybe just keep the heading in a bigger font & remove the description (or something else that's visually better & easy to catch).

I didn't know about the dark mode...

It is good but the red (maroon) font needs to be a bit lighter shade.

1. Yes, the hyperlinks in dark theme is rgb(143, 52, 58) in colour. And it's hard to read. I would appreciate that to change to light blue/yellow/orange or something, so it's easy on the eyes.

2. Also the "survey about laptop service in India" banner can be removed if it's purpose is solved?
How about linking the social media buttons on top right of the forum to actually link to social media accounts, rather than all of them pointing to Digit Technology Discussion Forum?

3. Also I wonder why does the Home and Forum tabs on the forum, both points to same URL: Digit Technology Discussion Forum? Can we make one of them point to let's say the news feed? (*geek.digit.in/community/account/news-feed).

4. I really miss the UserCP page which was in old version, where all my subscribed threads use to be on a single page. Right now if I need to see my subscribed threads, I need to do following steps:

Goto my Profile page
Click Posting tab
Goto bottom and click "All threads by Vyom".

Above steps will then create a search page, which later expires and hence can't be bookmarked. Any alternative to this?

Have you seen how Discourse is shaping up ? I think we should move to Discourse from Xenforo.

Oh well, only admins can do that. So, whenever they do it only then that logo will change. Perhaps @Anorion can help.

I think it was debated earlier somewhere that currently there just isn't enough interest in the forum that warrants payment of the pay to Xenforo guys for branding removal.

Could the laptop survey banner be removed if it has served its purpose?

There was a LAG of loading screens when logging in and browsing in Digit forum. Please check it.

Couldn't find relevant thread for this. Why does the main website has a lot of wasted space on the sides?

Depends, what's different in 2.1? Some QoL improvements would be good, like

support.

We will be doing this, not branding removal, but replacing the logo at least
Branding removal involves removing all evidence that it is a xenforo forum, including headers and footers and the like
Logo replacement requires just that - its an image file

Attached images preview is not working anymore. When an image is attached it is shown in the post but once "post" button is hit,it is replaced by a link which on clicking only shows the pic.

Tapatalk issues are back again.

Yeah, I noticed that when opening a thread in Tapatalk, it says that the thread may have been deleted but if I view in the browser, the thread is alright.

Please update the Trophies and can this forum outlook be changed like techenclave forum?

Tapatalk effect I think as it is much more easier to spam via tapatalk.

again I think it is due to some tapatalk bypass.

The posts itself should be in the moderation queue. Tapatalk or not.

Most newer ones are just creating a profile and adding spam links in their about section. That isn't put in moderation queue AFAIK.

5. Forum Rules needs to be shown on a main separate thread.
6. Add Gallery for the members to upload their RIG pictures.

Please shift the Forums tab to the 1st
Remove the Home icon or Tab (it's optional)
Also Add Gallery next to Forums Tab
