One of my friends is going to buy the Acer Aspire TimelineX 5830TG for 40k
Review: Acer Aspire TimelineX 5830TG-2413G50Mnbb
9 hrs battery life too.
Is it the right choice ??
Is there any better options ??
what is his requirements.??
He wants to play games like Crysis,Witcher and Starcraft 2 though not necesserly at high resolutions. He wants it to last atleast 3 years and he also wants to use it for programming. Good battery life is a big plus too.
when someone is asking for long battery life with nice performance the timelinex is what only comes in mind... i guess u should go for it...the 540m will be able to handle most of the games in medium settings...lasting 3 years is difficult, cause higher requirements games will come up by then, if he is not into that and will do his programming and other job it will last for 3 or maybe 4 years..
1) These laptops don't have high res screens. SO you can't play high res unless you connect an external display.
2) HP gives a battery life of ~5hrs.
3) HP should last 3 years.
And you can also look at dv4-3015tx. It should be available for 36,500 rs. And you wont be able to find any performance difference between the i5 of 3016tx and the i3 of 3015tx in games or programming or some other usual stuff.
