The new Thinkdigit website went live last night.

Please share your feedback, apart from the discussion thread which has already been opened.

Re: Think Digit New Homepage :)

First thing I noticed is that the stripes style tab(Most viewed, Top rated...) similar to market.android.com(copied?)
Also the site seems to be heavy, approx 2.6MB(including ads).
Will give more feedback after I explore more of it :)

Is it just me or the product finder actually doesn't work?

Is it just me or the product finder actually doesn't work?

:yeahright: ITS not working!!!

I believe it should have been 2 column layout instead of 3 since the almost " "useless and confusing" left hand "Related Menus" are eating up precious space and the main content area is too narrow for confortable viewing and reading...i think everyone can notice the sense of content being pushed in little spcae;Cramped Images and fonts!
Sugestions
1.Do Away with left menus
2.Narrow down right-most bars
3.Increase main content area!:!:

Way too many things going on over there. Why not make it wider. Wasn't it wider before???

Thanks! This has been rectified.

Nice. But there's still an error. 35% is erroneously written as 70%. Weak maths! :D

+1.

The new interface for the website looks nice. I liked this stripes tabbed style.
It looks fresh and cleaner than it was before.

Suggestion: "Just make it a little-bit wider as it was before."

FORUM is feeling extremely Oldie ;-) in front of our Modern Website
It should be REDESIGNED, REVAMPED eh?
And Mobile site should also be implemented for fast ^ThinkDigit-ing.
...Hopes:wink:Crossed...

Dude... speed has improved a lot after the theme change. And the theme is also temporary, if you don't know about it.
Please don't compare digit with something which is dead TBH!

And if you are comparing the ads, you should also compare the contents! Sigh!

Please don't jump to conclusions without doing your homework!

:agreed:
I was about to say the same thing here.

IMHO, even after having a slow internet connection, I have experienced speed boost.
And yes, you are right. The current theme is temporary.

Forwarding the issue.

btw, title of that "help!!!!!!! USB 7.1 channel??????" thread edited.

I'll only talk about Forum organization. 3 or 4 advertisements when someone signs in and you're still complaining? And you obviously know how to block adverts.

If you're on a mobile, we'll get you a mobile style for the forum soon.

Thank you. Find it annoying not being able to edit, too used to Stack Exchange model where I can edit anything.

Yes, definitely need one :|

Mobile Warriors like me and few other members would definitely benifit a lot. A plain theme with a white background will be enough. :)

Thanks for the new design. Its confusing in the old website what is where. But now, everything is neatly organized. The interesting feature I found is that whenever I read a article, the links-(such as android phones, tablets, smartphones) they group towards the left or right so that I dont need to go back to get them!. - nice feature. :)

Regarding the quick poll: Don't leave the poll as such for years. Try to change the poll every week or so.

UH UH. Has Digit stopped making money from the mag? Why have sooo many ads been put around the site?!!!
LESS content, MORE adverts! Is the mag suffering so much that digit needs to earn from ads now?

Posted here for feedback on the new look and there as a suggestion :D
by the way, what I wrote here was for the new look of the website, not this forum.
