Sad. The iconic "Tom Clancy's" (rainbow six/splinter cell/ghost recon) is no more..
Pull yourself, Ubisoft ...

Holy Sh!t.....This is really a Bad News for Ubisoft, FPS Gamers & the entire gaming industries.
May the Soul make few games in Heaven (Rest in Peace)
May the Soul make few games in Heaven (Rest in Peace)
Its not bad news since the games are merely endorsed by Tom Clancy and he has no hand in their development/production.
Tom Clancy was a writer first and foremost and his works have inspired iconic movies, tv series and video games that we know and love. However, the only video game inspired directly from Tom Clancy's novel is Rainbow Six, rest are only endorsed by him.
RIP.

so Ubisoft can still make more splinter cell, ghost recon, rainbow six etc games right?
Yes. I am not sure who owns the trademark to the name Tom Clancy, if Ubisoft does, they would still use the name as well.
RIP....
