Hello,
I want to purchase a good cpu PSU and want to SLI in future.

But most of the high End cards need 2 * 8pin power connector like the gtx580s.
Or any other Ati Cards and i am overclocking too my cpu to 3.8 to 4.00ghz.

Pls suggest will this able to handle.
I have H70 cpu cooler and i7 920 Procs.. and Asus X58 Sabertooth.

Pls suggest.
Thankx

What about Corsair TX850Wv2 - price around ~7k and this will run any GTX 580 and similar high end cards with ease in CF o SLI ;-)

BTW, as vicky has already asked - what's your budget for the PSU ?

If 6K is the budget and you want a future proof solution for the multi GPU setup of high end cards then nothing can beat the Glacialtech GP AX 950 AA 950W 80+ Silver PSU. It can handle the most enthusiastic builds like nothing...even a GTX 580 SLI with a 2600K @ 4.5GHz is just a piece of cake. Also don't forget its modular design, which makes Cable management a kid's work.It is better than the Corsair TX V2 series by any means except warranty. It offers 2 Years of warranty.

Here is the SMC Link

^^ yep, that would be a great PSU if he can get that - another alternative he might consider is Corsair TX750W @ ~6.2/6.4k

Already mentioned in his Signature.. within 6k..

thanks for pointing it out ;-)

^^ Yeah, Glacialtech AX950 is one hell of a SMPS in its price point. But what about support?
