my hp probook 445 is currently running windows 7 ultimate 64 bit. i want to install ubuntu 14.04 LTS by completely removing windows 7. i dont have a CD drive in my laptop but i want to install it from a usb flash drive from the Digit June 14 DVD. the installation guide suggested using Boot and run Linux from a USB flash memory stick | USB Pen Drive Linux but i cant figure out whether it will make a bootable drive or a pen drive containing ubuntu so that it could be run on any system.
