Been facing a problem trying to unlock the bootloader vis-a-vi the official sony website.
Trying to install, for the first time, cyanogen mod 9 on my xperia neo v.
Anyone done that, would be great for help and feedback on how that went.

Read this properly. [REF][GUIDE][05.05.12]Rooting,BL unlocking,Recovery,Kernel installation[Noob's guide] - xda-developers

ps: I cant be held responsible if you damage(brick your phone)
pps: Think twice and read everything throughly before making changes to phone.

Went through the cm9.1 upgrade. Working except for the GPS.
