Upgrading my old rig

Hello everyone,

Here's my present rig:

Intel P4 (2.6 ghz)
Intel 815
512 MB DDR1
IDE Drives: 2 HDDs,1 DVD-RW Drive.
PS-300W

No prizes for guessing the reason for upgrade.

Only CPU required

Budget : Max 15k

Only one suggestion: I want to connect my IDE devices to the new systems.

Want to run POP FS

that mobo has 2 IDE slots.

further you may get -

worth 400 bucks more.

Before assuming price from any online shop, try to visit market for getting an overview of latest details of hardware price.

I called at Lamington Rd. and found them a bit costlier

The dealers wont tell you the exact price over phone. Better visit Lamington Road and get the least possible price after bargaining, from different shops.
