Buying Intel Desktop Board DH67BL

Please give me link to proper RAM (4GB x1) for above mobo from PrimeABGB website.

Also am getting i5-2500K mobo.

do you want only a motherboard?

have ordered everything. just RAM is pending. I am buying Intel Desktop Board DH67BL cauz H61 is not in mumbai.
Let me know the RAM 4Gb x2 or even 4Gb x 1 from PrimeABGB website so that i can place the order.

no reason as such..but will prefer 4GB x 2 mode
also above ram you gave is DDR3 1600 i need 1333 mhz RAM.

i5 2500k + h67 mobo is not the way to go.
either get p67 mobo (and get gpu) or get non-k proccy.

the motherboard i choose is not supporting 1600 mhz. i know it will scale down, but dont want to risk it. Buying everything online.

Both suck. Gaming-wise. Won't make a difference IMO.

I am asking you to get i5 2500 because you got H67 mobo...which will waste the full potential of a k processor.

m getting i5-2500K for HD 3000 graphics as of now. later m adding card or say even if i get a cheap P-mobo, i may over clock it,

also if we consider games in next 3 years , do you think i5-2400 or i5-2500 is OK ? provided i have a good gfx card along with it ??

They should be pretty similar on HD playback.

They will work fine. JUst dont increase the res to max. and everything should be fine. Dont expect to play too hi-fi games without GPU

According to your mobo, you better get i5-2500 @10.2k...but you say you'll buy P67 later... :?:

obviously 3000 is better than 2000 but both suck in general gaming-wise
...movie playback don't worry....both are designed to play HD movies ...

cs2 and hl will run great...these are old...

i5-2500 frm SMC will cost me , 10250+300 shipping = 10,500 approx.

Mentioned about P67 , just in-case after 3 years this i5-2400 is not worth for gaming.

Get i5 2500 .... its only 700 bucks more than i5 2400...

HD3000 is definately better than HD2000...3000 can match entry level discrete gpus..

then in my opinion, u should get i5 2500k (HD3000) and intel h61 mobo in 3.5k..later on u can change it to p67 or z68 mobo for overclocking and other featured benefits and a gpu..but u will have to stick on vga port of h61 for 2 months as it has no dvi and hdmi + only 2 DIMMs..so cheap..but z68 will fulfill ur dreams..when u will have z68, u will also have k proccy in ur hand..

H61 is not in mumbai. I have purchased H67 mobo already.

1 More question. These days , how do we connect HDD wires to mobo ?

cauz as i remember , 3 years back ,we used to connect 2 cables to HDD, one was power supply and other one was a cable from HDD to MOBO

at HDD end , we used to make sure that RED color of both cables face each other.

this way we are sure that power supply to HDD is not reversely connect.

Its the same today also.

so u purchased..ohk..but u can still get k proccy if u can extend ur budget..more future proof and best deal with p67 or z68..if u r not planning to oc, don't waste money and take then non k.
