I need to know whether buying a Z97 or Z87 Chipset Mobo for Intel Core i5 4440 is ok even if I don't wanna OverClock?

No you dont need a Z97 or Z87 Mobo for a i5 4440. You either need a B85 or H87 or H97 Mobo only.
@Op - if you want you can buy a z87 / z97 motherboard but do that only if you need some specific features or planning to get a Ocable cpu later. BTW, it's perfectly fine to run core i5 4440 cpu on a z87 / z97 motherboard.
