Not wired, I don't know of wired keyboards costing 1k+ other than gaming & mechanical keyboards.

I'm not sure if good brands are available without RGB. I currently use a Logitech G105, it has blue bacaklit keys and can be turned off. You should be able to turn it off via software.

Why is RGB an issue when G213 has per key RGB control & K55 has 3 zone RGB control? Just change colour of backlight to one you like, maybe white, for all keys. Personally, I can't go back to using non-backlit KBs now. Many budget Chinese mech KBs have fixed rainbow RGB backlit, which I hate for sure.

I'm using the KB from CM Devastator 3 combo, I'd say its louder than many KBs. For mechanical KB, look for ones with brown switches & avoid blue based switches. I'm not sure if G213 & K55 have audible clicky sounds though.

This one from Redgear seems to be cheaper alternative to Logitech & Corsair:
Its claiming to have silent keys & people in reviews have claimed the same, so should be relatively silent. It has static backlit option for RGBY, cyan, purple & white.

If you want non-backlit KB, get anything from Logitech, Dell or HP which sells for 1k or so, juts look if it has multimedia keys. nothing much to think about.

RGB is not an issue, I feel it will distract. While switching off options in RGB it's not an issue...will switch on when required.

Use a static colour that you like. Many backlit KBs have poor letter legibility with backlight off.

If you truly don't like backlit KB, then you are the first such guy I have come across. To each their own, I guess.

How to register this product?
I don't think corsair has online product registering option like Logitech but it seems it isn't required either, it seems for warranty support corsair just asks for the invoice.

If the Corsair K55 RGB PRO keys are not working, start by resetting the keyboard. Unplug it, hold FN and F4, plug it back in, and release the keys after 10 seconds. If that doesn't work, try updating the keyboard's firmware via iCUE, reseating stuck keys, or checking for driver issues by uninstalling and reinstalling the keyboard driver

Its been 4 hours years since you created this thread. I think it's high time to upgrade to a mechanical wireless keyboard.
I will suggest Aula's keyboards. I recently got Aula F87 brown keys that are silent. Solid!

Try this keyboard in Linux once.

Else, take it to local repair shop, otherwise last option will be a new keyboard.

It is. But it's worth it. Brown keys are silent. Try it once. You will never want to go back.
Else, just get TVS Gold bharat keyboard. Not kidding. I still use it on my main desktop PC. Next best thing to actual mechanical keyboards.

Available in Nehru place at less than 1k used. Good conditions.
