Hi Guys,

I save my passwords for my different accounts in FF in my home computer so that it auto logins whenever I open a particular site. Is there a way to make FF ask for a password for atleast once after it is opened after a reboot? Is there any specific software or extension for the same? What I am looking for is say a master password for gmail, yahoo, digit, amazon etc. that FF asks for once after reboot.

Thanks

FF does have a master password system. You may try out that.

Where exactly is that option dear? There's an extension/add on for this, can't recall it's name though.

It will be under Options / Preferences > Security > Use a master password

It should ask a password everytime you close it. That's my understanding about it.

Thanks. It works but it does not make FF ask for a password for atleast once after it is opened after a reboot. Any way to do the same?

After setting Master Password try any of these extensions :

Master Password+ :: Add-ons for Firefo

or

StartupMaster :: Add-ons for Firefo

It will only ask for password If you clear cookies, etc on exit.

Change setting to automatically clear cookies on FF exit.

Master Password+
works perfectly..
ask for password every time I opened browser..
Also minimize and inactivity lock also available... really good..
even after clearing all history and using "forget" in ff,
all options are available in Tools>option,,
Thank you for suggestion..
