Uses of the "Windows" key in Win 98 SE:

This one has been lifted from Windows Help long ago. But so many of us never bother to go through that. Right?

1. WINDOWS+BREAK
Display the System Properties dialog box

2. WINDOWS+D OR WINDOWS+M
Minimize or restore all windows

3. SHIFT+WINDOWS+M
Undo minimize all windows

4. WINDOWS+E
Display Windows Explorer

5. WINDOWS+R
Display the Run command

6. WINDOWS+F
Display Find: All Files

7. CTRL+WINDOWS+F
Display Find: Computer

81. WINDOWS+TAB
Cycle through buttons on the taskbar

9.WINDOWS+F1
Display Help

a little bit of clarification

Windows + M = Minimize windows , it will minimize all windows which are in taskbar

Windows + D = Show Desktop , it will minimize windows and hide all other windows which may not be visible on taskbar ( ex display properties, folder options, etc )

Check out PCQ Linux. They have modificed the code and done that. We can use the key to open the menu the same way we can do it in Windows. :)

I have 2 keyboards (one old which I use most without Window Key)

So I really have not used it often (habbit)

One key I use is Win+D (for Desktop)

I think Win+D is a much better option than the Win+M that I was using all this while. Also, didn't realise win+break for the system properties. Thanks for this nice post.
