^^ No no veelas are extremely beautiful women who attract men and keep then spell bound. Men become crazy after them and try to impress them as they're under their spell. However women are not affected by them.

Ya, I know that, If you read Goblet of Fire, during the quidditch world cup, they turn angry with the mascot of the burgundians (leprecauns) and turn into some sort of ugly birds and fight with them.
