vista winload.exe is missing or corrupted due to ubuntu

i installed vista 5384 build after xp so i was having dual boot with xp and vista.

both were working very well..

then i installed ubuntu 6.06 linux and after that when i run windows vista it gives error
"/windows/system32/winload.exe is missing or corrupted"

both xp and linux are still working well.

i have checked also in the root folder of vista that winload.exe is not missing , it is there..


SO guys what could be the problem

i have searched google.com and i found many people stating same problem but no solution i got..

so if anybody knows or suggest any solution then plz do it fast as otherwise i wanna format vista...
