voice recording problem.....

hi....
iam having problem while recording voice in my PC....
when i checked hardware installation it showing "it is not recognizing my voice "
what should i do...

Which application are you using to record program? Which distro? System specs?

to check follow these steps-
start---All program---accessories---entertainment----voice recorder

Here try to record your voice..It it fails,post again

mother board--->intel 946GZTS
intel 3.4 duel core processor, 2MB L2 cache
1GB RAM
SATA 160 GB HDD
LG DVD R+w

hi friend .. i tried that ... but iam not getting....
when iam testing hardware trouble shooting,it is telling system is not not recognising u r voice..

which distro or linux version ur trying?
