3D Monitor - 3D display is a display device capable of conveying a stereoscopic perception of 3-D depth to the viewer. The basic requirement is to present offset images that are displayed separately to the left and right eye. Both of these 2-D offset images are then combined in the brain to give the perception of 3-D depth.

Every game in 3D?
Yes, provides eye candy without any stuttering...
Alienware is good in color differentiation than any other brands....
You should have a suitable Beast GPU to produce 3D....
In movies, the movie has to 3D recorded to view it as 3D....

First of all you should post about your computer rather than the monitor. You need a powerful nVidia card for running 3D and the config needs to be very good. Better go for a cheaper non 3D monitor as it's just a novelty. You'll never feel the need for it for a few years. Also as you don't know about 3D you should first go to a store and try out 3D and see if you really require it (according to me it's useless).

@bharat
Hey why don't you go for a PC first and then go for a 3D enabled monitor..
As said by Cybertonic , you'll need a very powerful rig including a powerful GPU for 3D based performance..And a rig like that would cost you ~ 120k..
And buying a Monitor like the Alienware AW2310 without a good PC is like having a Sportscar without tyres..

@OP- You are talking about an Ferrari engine sticking in a Nano man. 3D Monitor is great, but while you don't have a perfect PC including a Very Good GPU then asking about it not worthy. Get a good spec PC, GPU and then go on for the Monitor, 3D :)
The above said spec seems good for ya, dunno what's your budget anyway.
