1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans: for playing Skyrim and far cry 4 and for listening to music through headphone oh and for browsing the net too

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans:50K

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans:no

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans:win 7 and ubuntu gnome 15.04

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans:2TB

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans:need a monitor of atleast 22''

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: key board and mouse, speakers 2.1

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans:in 2 to 5 days

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans:yes. ill be the builder.

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans:KOCHI. yes

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans:I am not buying a graphics card now, i will add a graphics card within 3 months. The one i have in my mind is sapphire graphics card dual x r9 280x.

this is the config I have in my mind ...all suggestions are welcome.

^ Get WD Green instead of Seagate. Seagate gives refurbished drives in RMA. And instead of the R9 280x, get the GTX 970.

Hi josin,
Take a look of this configuration, maybe it will fulfill your requirement.

AMD FX-8350.
Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3.
Corsair Vengeance 8GB.
Samsung 850 EVO 120GB.
GTX 970.
Deepcool Tesseract SW.
Seasonic S12II 520W.

For storage capacity, it depends on your requirement. If you are only planning for storage and normal computing, I’d suggest you to go with the WD Green.

For more information about WD Green, you may refer the below link

I don't think he was referring to the HDD.

You should'nt depend on local shops for parts and buy what they have instead of buying the better ones online.

not talking about the HDD. you wasted 3k if you only wanted SPDIF from that Z97. by not getting B85+Sound Card. that 3k would have made considerable difference in your CPU performance, also that cabinet is not upto the mark.

Its your money, but well I rather feel sad if its wasted :( :|

Seems a little pricey to me.
Intel i5 4440 :- 11000/- would have been okay. Also corsair vengeance 8 GB 4800/- is what my vendor quotes.

To the rest of us - It's fine. We're here to give/seek advice. Taking it or not is entirely on OP.
