Weird Internet Problem.

Some sites like gmail.com, MSN.com and Messengers (Yahoo,MSN, Gtalk) are not working anymore.

First I thought it is a virus which by AV couldnt beat so I formatted and reinstlalled all but still same thing

Has some one else faced similiar prob before with BSNL? If yes whats the solution

Are you working behind any firewall?

Its my Home PC. I got QuickHeal Installed. Opera / IE etc are all allowed. Other sites open fine but not above.

Also Firewall warns for access of Program when it tried to connect. So far it hasnt did that either.

MSN Messneger Troubleshooter says: Default Gateway has some problem and make sure you are connected to internet.

1) try to open blocked sites in other browsers.
2) Disable all firewall and try to open blocked sites and messenger.

Try Troubleshooting : If You Are Unable To Open A Particular Website.

try to flush ur dns..command prompt type ipconfig /flushdns
it mite be helpfull if u post a hijackthis log...some sites were blocked on my comp...turns out it was a virus,i saw hijackthis and saw that these sires were being redirected to an error page...all i had 2 do was remove tis file...
