I was wondering what is more efficient for a laptop among the foll choices:
1. Shut down
2. Hibernate
3. stand by
4. power off.
5. Keep it as it is.
6. any other

subjective question... On certaion ground Standby is needed some times hibernate is also needed...

and on preiodical times restart is also needed...

so there are no fix option it all depends on the need and the situation...
