Was just searching on net for some good rare humor. Most of the sites had the old ghisepite jokes.
I somewhat liked

LiQUiD CheeZ - Fun just got yummier,

though it had quality content but still the quantity needs to be much more.
What’s your fav tp site?

4chan, reddit and then tumblr(if you know who to follow). These are god sites. Most OC comes from here, then spreads to other sites

Follow 9gag.com amazing site.

Lol. Are you kidding me. All they do is copy stuff from reddit and pass it off as their own. They even change the time to show that it came on 9gag before reddit. They also rig votes to show that their content is more popular.

That site is really run by a sorry bunch of losers.

Here one guy did extensive research on how they operate: 9GAG "Repost Machine" Explained : 9gag

4chan even DDOS attacked their site several times because of this.

its upto you if you wanna see them or not :p

Follow 9gag.com amazing site.

9GAG copies from many places, and also doesn't give credit to the creator and on top of that, brands the content with their name. That's why I dont like it much.

You probably have no problem with people stealing other people's content.

On sites like tumblr or reddit, people create content themselves and make memes or share pictures from stuff they experience first hand. All 9gag does is steal those stuff, put their own brand on it and show that they created it. There is no good community to speak of since most of the votes are rigged.

Trust me, imgur.com is much better and trust me, the stuff you see on imgur will turn up on 9gag after a few hours.

Also, Reddit has a lot more variety of content than 9gag.

this link (from your shared link). Didn't knew they 9GAG had a war with 4chan lol. "9gag army is coming for you 4chan"
anonymous used to use 4chan for their raids for a reason(dont know if they still use). You don't mess with 4chan
also didn't 4chan fuc*ed Adam Goldstein real hard?(info from digit's post)

also OP check out Go away , its David Thorne's own site. No new posts as he publishes them all in his books now but all the posts are gold!
Also search for bloodninja's chat screen shots.

how would you be if I branded something that is yours to be mine? Shamelessly claiming that no its mine, not yours?
That's what 9gag does.

Also reddit is a lot cleaner than 9gag and more organised than 4chan.

You can also try imgur.com

It was originally created to be a simple platform to share pictures to reddit. Now it has become a whole new community on its own.

4chan is a completely anonymous imageboard. You don't even have to register to post stuff there. Needless to say, people post random and weird stuff at times. But 4chan is where 99% of all memes on the internet originate.

Reddit is like a more well disciplined and organized younger brother of 4chan. Subreddits are moderated and you can create throwaway accounts to contribute content without getting involved too much.

abhigeek, I suggest that you lurk on reddit for a few days and see. You might like it. There is also a india subreddit at India: United We Stand

Looks like there are quite a few good sites..
and yes, 9gag is filled with imgur stuff

Mostly 9gag - imgur = crap..

I think I will stick with imgur and liquidcheez.
I don't know why but nowadays I rarely find anything funny on the net at all.

It's still pretty good. Also informative.

However it has american pop culture references. So Indians might not find it very appealing.

Another website I frequently visit is TVTropes. Home Page - TV Tropes

It is a database of trivia, tropes and recurring gags, etc. regarding music, tv, movies, etc.

I also frequently visit Uncyclopedia

It's like a parody of Wikipedia with extremely cheesy topics and humor.

Yeah. It was a minitrue headline that I wrote the article around.

Here is my user page: User:SomeGuyNamedDes - Uncyclopedia, the content-free encyclopedia

- - - Updated - - -

9gag is user submission site '9gag' don't put up content 'users' does. 9gag is easy to browse.

Many of their so called "users" are bots that scrape other sites and copy their most popular content. Many of the "users" are also their employees who are known to manually remove watermarks from other people's content and add their own to show that it originated on 9gag first. If you point this out to them, they will ban your account and/or remove those bots/users.

Apart from this, they are also known to use voterigging and bogus votes to show how popular their content is.

I like 9gag, not for the posts but for the comments. humor comes there. For re-posting and stealing contents its like 4chan{reddit{9gag}}}

On reddit:

Dude, 4chan has some of the most original content ever. Almost all the memes you see around all started on 4chan. Also, humorous comments are better on 4chan, reddit and tumblr.

Go to /r/AskReddit for example and see.

^thats what I said, everything starts at 4chan, reddit copies from there plus added some of his own cat photos, 9gag copies from both.

/r/AskReddit = top posts are repost every 3-4 months.

I consider myself culturally neutral therefore I can watch any youtube channel without any problems. Even my youtube locale is set to "Worldwide" as opposed to "India"

Some of my favourite, in no particular order, are:

makemebad35
ADoseOfBuckley
AgentXPQ
AndyRehfeldt
CollegeHumor
Cinemassacre
flashdeckanimations
FPSRussia
GameSocietyPimps
Infidelamsterdam
Jim Sterling
JonTronShow
Lore
mans1ay3r
Nerdist
Quirkology
TotalBiscuit

Probably there are more. Will post if I remember.
