Bios settings change to Stay Off

Hi,

I have tried changing the bios setting to STAY OFF in ACPI power section.
now i see another strange thing happen.

Now whenever i turn on UPS, my computer immediately gets on(keyborad, cpu,mb for few secords) and off.

My computer going crazy...

Thanks,
Nitesh.

Yeah
That happens with most newer motherboards.
In fact if u open the cabinet u ll see the LED on
the motherboard is always on.
Nothing wrong with that but still it sure is very annoying

depends on ur cabinet also
if u have a push to on power switch or a push to on - off switch
also depends if ur PSU has an on switch
see if these are in off position first

I had recently changed my PSU even same situation..

I had recently switched to new true 300W power supply. with my
Intel 865GBF MB.

Config
865 GBF. 1GB RAM. 3 GHZ Prescott.

I had even changed RAM,Processor and PSU except this poor intel MB.

This stupid intel MB making me irritating all the time..

Can anyone find a better solution to this problem...

Thanks..
