Hello everybody,
I want to buy a dvd writter, but i'm confused about it.
Please suggest which dvd writter is cheaper and also efficient in the range of 1100-1300.

they are the distributor of sony. got my sony DVD writer replaced there. only to go bad after 12-14 days  warranty over, game over. i took my DVD writer for repair when just 2 days left in warranty.

I would suggest going for LG. I've seen 3 LG DVD writers (1 my own, 2 with friends) working fine for last 2-3 years.

I've written around 300-400 full DVDs (single layer, duall layer, rewritables, all) over the last 2.5 years and it's working fine. The eject button's not working though, I have to use a command line utility with batch file or rocket dock docklet for that.
