Which Form Factor (2.5" or 3.5") is better in External Hdd? - Little Urgent.

to all of you.

I need to buy an External Hdd preferably 4 TB from some reputed Brand like WD or SEAGATE, Can you please Respected Members tell me Which Form Factor is better than other one? I don't mind using External Power for the HDD, because this HDD would be sit on my desktop.Please advise also tell me for which brand should I go? Thank You.

Even 4TB portable usb 2.5" runs hot so you can imagine the situation of external 3.5" external hdd with adapters(they run even hotter). Also 4TB usb 2.5" costs lesser too so I don't think one even needs to think about this.

As for brand just pick one you have good experience with(WD or seagate).
