Hi,
I wish to buy a new handset. The basic purpose is to use the internet on the go. Please suggest me a good handset for this purpose. I've never used the GSM phones so I've limited knowledge about the specs.
I've shortlisted the following ones but still not very clear..
1. Samsung Omnia B7320
2. Samsung Star 3g
3. Nokia E71/63
4. Samsung Jet
5. LG Cookie
6. HTC Touch Diamond

I've not yet considered the budget thing. I want to short list few models then will think about the budget. Still i cant spend over 20K in any case.
Please suggest!!

Samsung Jet is the best of those six. But my suggestion would be to go for Symbian or Android platform for app compatibility.

1) 5800XM
2) HTC G1 or magic
3) SE Xperia X10
4) E71 (purely business class)

samsung star and lg cookie are junk. stay away from them.

As i told earlier INTERNET is my only requirement. So no music phones...
Android and Xperia are pretty costly and they won't fit in my budget...What about Windows Mobiles? Are they better for this purpose? The MobileStore guys suggested me to go for Windows Mobile for the internet....they suggested me Samsung Omnia Pro B7320!!!
What abt Blackberry? I'm not considering 'em as the BlackBerry internet plans are very costly and I'll end up paying huge bills at the end of the month.

if only for internet and email, E71 or Samsung Jet are the best pick. The only disadvantage with E71 is that it's key's are a bit difficult to get used to.

Samsung Jet is available @ Rs. 18.9K
Samsung Pixon @ 18.4 K

IMO Pixon is better than Jet. What you people say? :!:
