Dude you didn't name the real good ones.

(1.)ID softwares-they are just great.
(2.)Valve-they innovate other just follow.
(3.)Microsoft-They make crappy OS but their games are really awesome.

Bethesda softwares,Codemasters,Eidos,Remedy,Crytek,Rockstar,2k games,IO interactive,id.

Red Strom Entertainment ? didnt they make the Tom Clancy series ?
But I love valve .. and yea MS is good in gaming ? (really wonder how ! )
How can one forget the Age of Empire series .. aah classic

^^Wasn't AoE made by Ensemble Studios(M$ published the game)
There is a difference between developers and publishers.
Developers(valve,id) make,publishers(Like M$ ,activision) sell.

valve, EA, ubisoft

VALVE AND ID SOFTWARES are the real dominator of gaming industry. But CRYTEK is doing wonders recently first with FAR CRY(Awesome game just love it) and now with CRYSIS.

My fav.
1>Ubisoft
2>Take-Two Interactive
3>Valve
