Which mobile phone are you using currently ?

Just was wondering which mobile phones forums members are using currently. Now a days I do have two phones Nokia6300 and N96. But out of both I found 6300 reliable and fast phone comparative to N96..so which is your at the moment ?

6300 is a total bullshit phone and I used that phone and when I lost it, I was very happy that I lost it.

N96 in my opinion is 1/0 times superior phone over 6300. Compare 6300 with phones like W580i or 6233 and you will know how bad it is. Except for the display, there is no other quality component in the phone.

And it was the opinion of many that bought this model. Enjoyment lasts for a week max. After that it's just a nightmare. charge everyday, crappy call quality, pathetic loud speaker, average audio quality.

Couple of UIQ, S60v3 and BB phones as backups (P1i, E71, 8320 etc.)

install jb taskman ( better than handy taskman ) this kills all the program related processes and the program itself from the memory and gives you 17-18 mb of free ram...

I as puchased the same. But could not - set the modem or USB disk to work. Could u tell me how to do so? (thier customer care is GFN. Huawie guys could not help and just replaced the set. Also I should have 1000 Phoenbook contacts and 250 RUIM. BUt it gives only 500 and 150

I bought it only for the beautiful display it has.

But the battery backup is for around one and a half to two days, which is more than sufficient for my needs...

Never let me down as yet.... Been using it for more than 6 months now....

Nokia E51 - people may say its not for entertainment but good enough for me. I've played SVR 2009 on it which refused to budge on N73 and sluggish on the N95 8GB. Besides i need connectivity and it boasts on that front.

That depends on your definition of "second hand prices". I'm ready when you are..

My total loss is minimized since I buy/sell just-launched phones only. The Curve 8900 isn't going to be here for sometime, so if I can get my hands on one right now, I could probably recoup the entire amount a couple of months down the line. There is no dearth of eager "well pocketed" buyers looking to buy the latest stuff. Heck, my local dealer in south Mumbai has built an entire business on this idea.

F305 is a decent phone but it doesn't make sense to move to it from W810i. I'd suggest you get K790i instead.

4. GPS: though it does not give the same but in ranchi it give the range of 3600 meters along with edge connection in google earth.
4. Wi-Fi: i use the wi-fi connection to use internet in laptop in 2 or 3 at a time.

Google Maps gives 2 types of locations....one is using ur network data which is actually a large number like 3000-5000 m....but in this way you are not actually using GPS.....

To use GPS u need to wait for at least 1 - 2 minutes to get a stable satellite connection...then it will give position within 30m......also GPS doest work well indoors...

My external bluetooth Gps is very accurate about 5 metres .

Using my nokia e 63.
Then have another nokia 1100 the strongest set on earth. Happy with both of them. Tried many other but none can beat these two in functionality. 1100 is the best when it comes to rough handling and e63 is really a power packed performer.

He got it in uk.. just been back to mumbai for a week or so .. and we have swapped our phones for few days just to test the touchscreen-non touchscreen usage pattern..

I was using Asus P526. Horrible phone. Battery started becoming low. Could not get the incoming or outgoing call register. Sound quality poor. Tried to get it repaired. Parts not available. Phone had to be dumped as a solution.
Now I have bought a Nokia E71. Happy!
