I have $65 (Rs 3000) in my hand, I want to spend it on an MP3 player, so far I came across iPod Shuffle 2GB - $59

I am not a Gadget Guru, but some of my friend advised me to buy Sony Walkman series MP3 player which is also in the my budget as they said.

So what do you think which should I buy or is there any other good option available.

Last time i checked Sansa MP3 players were not available in india!!! I am have iPod classic n Cowon iAudio 7 pair them with a good set of headphones and both sound more or less the same... Audio quality is great. But when it comes 2 features u name it n iAudio has it all, it supports all de famous audio formats, has sound n Fm recording, lyrics support and above all de battery life is almost 3 times that of de iPod! :)

Cowon for battery life yeah, but Sansa Clip if you can get your hands on it, and the nano if you just love iTunes/Mac etc

buy anything but an ipod. their batteries die out in just 1 year and need replacement, which is expensive and can only be done by them.

Who said that ???
I have a 6 yr old Nano and a 2yr old iPod touch still giving good backup times and needed no replacement till now not a single part. Many of my cousins and friends own them no one has replaced battery as far as I know.
Please don't bash some product just because you have to say something. Use it and if you had any problems then bash it.

ipods tend to be a tad overpriced. Sansa Clip + Creative EP630 and you've got your best travel companion. Superb sound quality, radio, expandable memory and a screen. A steal if you ask me!
