I have an total budget of 17k for two phones.

Criteria for first phone-
Should be an android touchscreen phones with 3g, gps and Wi-Fi, a physical QWERTY keyboard (useful but to mandatory)

My Considerations-
Samsung Galaxy 551
LG Optimus One
Spice mi310

Second Phone-
Should be have an QWERT keyboard, Wi-Fi, (3G an advantage but not mandatory)

My Considerations-
Nokia E63

LG Optimus One and Nokia C3.
If you can increase your budget you can replace C3 with above suggested phone i.e. E5.

Nokia C3-
No 3G only Wi-Fi
Symbian S40

E63-
3G and Wi-Fi
Symbian S60

why the C3 and not the E63??

^^ same suggestion from my side.
If your spending 17K, try a bit to extend to 19K and get lgO1 and E5.

E63 basically doesnt have HSDPA with 3G.
but my doubt is is it really worth for the Indian 3G networks??
