Please help me out. My max budget is 12-13k. I know nothing about water purifiers. Should I go for UV or RO technology??

RO is recommended when the water source is a boring well/hard water, basically not from mc.
If it is used in mc water it robs the essential minerals in the filtered water.

What's the price?? Thanks for letting me know that I should also consider the spare parts. BTW how frequently do you need to change it??And what is the price of that spare part?

You better call up those water purifier guys. . They will come to your house/ you can go. .. And get price details and amc details( annual maintainance costs) which might have changed since I got mine a year ago

Tell them your water type

That's the problem. Such a wide collection put me in a confusion about which one to buy. BTW I've decided to take the free demo provided by the companies. After that I'll decide.

Check out for Water Purifier assemblers too.
Its like assembled PC only. Original Parts ( Kent, Aquaguard or whatever brand you prefer ) minus Brand name = much less cost than branded purifiers.

Harish just in case you are still looking for a water purifier. Just wanted to give my 2 cents.
I know this process is little complicated but I think ideally you should get the water that you will as source tested and based on that you can go for the type of filter. I mean if it's hard water then RO. I would suggest this way rather than calling the Purifier guy to your home. He may convince you to go for the type he wants to rather than what exactly your need is.
