Im having a problem.I upgraded my router o a netgear n600.

Everything is working fine, now when i connect my laptop to the network ,Internet for the whole network is down. ie no one can access the internet with any other device in the network.and when i disconnect my laptop from the network everything seems fine.

my laptop is lenovo e540.
and the problem only occurs when my laptop is connected.

what could be the problem?
any advice?

Check what services are running in the background! Guessing there is some malicious software installed in your PC that takes the entire bandwidth!
Use Process Explorer or the Windows Task Manager and Check what start up applications are present on your laptop!

yeah it was DISCOVER.EXE at least i hope that is.in resource monitor when ever that process came on the whole network lags.
It was a part of Lenovo inbuilt software. uninstalled it.No more lag since then.

thanks for the help.
