Whos operating OPERA, me or EXPLORER n KERNEL

well bud am using Opera since last 1 year..and ddnt got any errors....seems a Trojen/Virus...Did u chkd ur sys with AV/Spyremover?? ..plz post ur Hyjack Log...

Try this, go to Tools Menu> Quick Preferences. Here change the way Opera is identified as, if you have "Internet Explorer", change it to "Mozilla" or "Opera" and check for the error messages.
If you still recieve errors, disable Java Script, from the Quick Preferences menu itself.

I'm unable 2 find da tools menu as i'm using Opera 7.21

Help is needed.

well the Shortcut for Quick preference is F12 ..and that for Advanced Preference is Ctrl+F12

Well swatkat i've enabled identify as Opera.
BTW since i'm using Opera 7.21 i can't find advanced preferences.
i haven't disabled da JAVA n still getting error mssg.

while i haven't disabled Java Script da errors continued but now they occurs when i close Opera. when opera is closed then i hav a mssg that opera has caused an illegal operation.

problem is that when i disable da scripts my yahoo n rediff mailboxes aren't working properly.
but i remember that da first time i hav disabled it. No error occured. but now in case i want 2 use my mailboxes so i hav enabled it.

Isn't there any other way of getting rid from it.

1)updated opera !
2)updated 98 with unofficial pack
3)problem solved

Whats unofficial pack.

since 98 is an oudated operating system
microsoft has stopped releasing its update

but there are some companies(third party)
which prepare updates for the outdated ones

and these are called unofficial packs coz these are not created by the owner of the software

but there might be permission taken to do this

I have did it.

I hav disabled java script.

Selected identify as Opera.

But yet Opera is performing illegal operations.

BTW i hav downloaded Opera 8.0 Beta but when i executes da file a window appears n says that "opera8.exe is not a valid windows application.

What shud I do?

Also when from when i have disable javascripts. The moving avatars in this forum arent moving in my browser any more. also i can't check mail in my yahoo mailbox nor i can delete mssgs in my rediff mailbox.
