wifi blocked after 3 mins..

my college is providing Wi-fi facility in which they provide every student a username and password to access internet..
but after 2-3 mins we have to again enter the username and password to access otherwise a window of some software pops up and asks us to enter the username and password again...
is there any solution that i can access internet by providing the details only once?

in my opinion, your system administrator has preferred to prompt for manual user authentication every 2-3 minutes. Take the matter to him. There are other way, but this is the easiest one.

can u put some screenshots of "that software" which shows the pop-ups, and also, do you use some proxy configuration url (usually a .pac file) in your browser settings ?
