if u are planning to buy TFT/LCD monitor u should go for 800W (not VA) UPS

I 'de rather suggest Online UPS/Inverter. Dude it might cost u more but it will run every single appliance u need. U can run ur system for hours and many more.
If u still want to invest in UPS then 600VA atleast.

better to go for 800VA/1.5 = 530W (approx) if i m not wrong...
i made a mistake of buying a lower VA one and then have to upgrade to 800VA as power requirement rises...but actually since your powersupply is only 400W, 650VA or even 500VA will do for now, then you have to buy another one if you upgrade
in normal operation, the PC any way do not use full 400W

thanks for those replies....
if i'm running good on a 400W psu....then cd t mean that...i can easily suffice by having 400*1.5=600VA ups?(so the 650VA one looks pretty safe)
anyways...thank u all for ur replies
