A PCI-e x16 slot is present. So I think the card should work fine. You may need to upgrade your SMPS if it is less than 500w or else it may underpower your system after you add the card.

^^ I agree.
You will need one of those "Rail connectors" or "6-Pin PCIe connector" or whatever that is called so that you can run your card.
A 500W SPMS is recommended.

yes..a good 500 watt smps is recommended but as 8800GT's power requirement at top load is about 106 watts...a good 400 watt will also do...but as stated before...a good branded 500 watt is recommended

But can you guys confirm me that my motherboard will support or not... I have 400W some branded SMPS.. but i will upgraded it to 500..

Also can you guys have any idea of the price(8800GT and 8600GT)! I need to compare with the price in Bangalore for a proper bargain :)

Expansion capabilities
  • Two PCI Conventional* bus add-in card connectors
  • One PCI Express* x1 bus add-in card connector
  • One PCI Express x16 bus add-in card connector
nVidia 8800GT
*www.nvidia.com/object/geforce_8800gt_tech_specs.html

High Speed Interfaces
