Windows 8.1 drivers ?

Is it OK to use the same drivers from windows 8, When upgrading from windows 8 to 8.1 ?

Nope.. unless the drivers for the component is listed as common to both the OS by the manufacturers

got windows 8.1 installed on my hp g6 2301 ax and the fans have been running like crazy and the wifi led is malfunctioning

I'm also gonna hold the 8.1 installation plan. Too much work and I don't see much of an advantage over Win 8 anyway.

No do try windows 8.1, it is miles better than 8 but only after all the drivers have been released from your manufacturer

Dell has released new drivers for my laptop to install with Win 8.1. So you are saying its worth it to try the 8.1 version

Read so many posts on internet about 8.1 installation going apesh!t. So I was getting paranoid
