Hi there,
I'm getting a new PC (parts and everything not from dell, hp etc) and Microsoft has an offer selling windows 8.1 Pro for students at only 3500 Rs.

link:
Buy Windows 8.1 Pro Student - Microsoft Store India

Now can I use it for my new PC or is it only for upgrades? If I can please assist!

Looks like student version to me. Should work on fresh install. Still, use the live chat option available on the link above before purchase.
