Windows media player not working

helo frnds, Windows Media Player on
pc not play
the DVD because a compatible DVD
decoder is not installed on my
computer.
Where can i get a free DVD decoder
compatible to Windows media player
using window 7
Pl give websites where i can
download the plug in.

pcu-intel 3220
mobo- intel DZ75ML-45K
ram- 4gb *

get vlc media player or install k lite codec pack

Install K-Lite Codec Pack and windows media player will play the file.

Install vlc media player or combined community codec pack.

when I want to Rip CD by using following error occurs , help me how to Rip my CD by using Windows media player and why this type of message displayed ??? is there any problem to my Windows media player ??? :-(

check on the back of the cd cover/cd to see if it mentions protected content.also try copying songs manually from within windows.

only from Windows media player , I don't want to installed any other software. previously Windows media player 9 in XP , perfectly work, but why not in Windows media player 11???

no.try from some live linux cd/usb to copy/rip audio cd.
