go for lumia 640 xl, unless you want a phone with one-handed operation.

Look for lumia 930 in your local market. It will be available around 25k mark. But if you are not going to spend that much better get lumia 640XL.

Get Lumia 640. Lumia 540 having Snapdragon 200 SoC over 640's Snapdragon 400 quad core.

Thank you sir! I have one doubt. Doesn’t powerful processor lead to more battery consumption?

Snapdragon 400 is more battery efficient than snapdragon 200.

Thank you for your advice and time good sirs. It would be really very helpful if you can help me out with this fact as in many places people are saying that the more powerful the processor the more battery would be consumed even if the battery is a powerful one.

Of course it's right if you consider the peak usage. However there are many things which change when you have a "newer" chipset with you; it's more power efficient, i.e. it will consume lesser battery at similar power consumption levels, much better performance, more software updates, etc.

So you should never compare on the basis of raw power.
