Xbox's online multiplayer service, Xbox live is coming to india in about 2 weeks.
it will have two memberships.the silver and the gold.with gold membership one can play online multiplayer games and it will be a paid one.silver membership is free and has all features except online multiplayer gaming.
xbox live in india will not have the option to buy movies in the marketplace for now.

and yeah xbox live wont work for modded 360s - thats what MS has said in interviews

yeah , but some are still there who buy original games .

btw , playing Burnout Revenge on Xbox Live is grrreat .

but still we have to pay to play online unlike other platforms such as pc or PS.

Actually Live Account wont work with moded consoles.. isnt it ?

nah they'l work , but you'll get banned from Live if you play a Pirated Game on Live .

u guys got one thing wrong. xbox silver works with pirated 360's, my friend tested it himself back in philippines

currently I am playing online Airtel games on demand.
They charge Rs. 200/- per month, and give unlimited access.

silver may work cos it doesn't support online multiplayer gaming.
