Bought Mi soundbar. Since it is all praises around, I will post some real stuff

1. If you expect some magic in overall sound, you will be disappointed

In a normal SD Set top box and normal SD channel setup, it is more annoying than a boon. Some sounds will get enhanced and whole experience will be patchy. So, it is better to use normal TV speaker for most of the TV viewing through normal mode

2. I tried kala chashma and jab tak jaha mein subh shaam hein through Smart YouTube app. It was good, nothing great

3. What I noticed is that certain Hollywood trailers appears great with soundbar

I think you will get a good experience if you are going to watch some streaming videos in English or downloaded content with better audio tracks

Overall, skip it for normal TV watching, it is more annoying than helpful. There is some serious bass enhancement.

Also, the height of soundbar is such that it blocks remote when both TV and soundbar is placed at the same level. You need to find some place below to accommodate soundbar. That will show off annoying wires.

I told you its not great without woofer but congrats

Every review I saw was praise for Mi bar. That is why I went for it. I wanted to try MarQ, but reviews were more positive with Mi bar.

But I have to admit, when we play Hollywood stuff, it is really impressive, not great though.

My friend is using some bluetooth speakers instead of these bars and they work great as per his requirement. Can't recall the brand name.

I fell for the reviews. Everywhere they talk as if your overall sound experience will be great. It is not bad, but in Indian scenario, its role is limited.
