yahoo messenger login fails

everytime i login through yahoo messenger it fails. ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling it.ive also tried upgrading it to version 9 beta but it is throwing error too.However i can use webmessenger and also can login to my mail account successfully. Ive cleared yahoo messenger's access permission in firewall,besides ive also tested it without firewall.Any suggestions?

Are you sure you are typing the right password. If using yahoo india account, try to login without "@yahoo.co.in"

but its working for webmessenger as well as mail
and for the extension i tried it too but its not working

Have you tried another client like pidgin and trillian? If it works there, contact yahoo customer care.

^^it dznt work coz Messanger sux, get Pidgin or Miranda IM

i installed pidgin and used it and its working
so for few days i'll use it
