Install the latest Flash Player from Adobe.com in your system and your problem should be solved.

Then also try to register the ocx file. Open RUN and give following command:

Code:
regsvr32 %windir%\System32\Macromed\Flash\Flash9e.ocx
Here I have mentioned the file version of Flash player installed in my Windows. Change the file name acc. to your system. Check which .ocx file exists in "%windir%\System32\Macromed\Flash\" folder.

That means Flash Player is not installed in your system. Open following link in IE and download the flash player:

^^ Have you installed it using IE or Firefox? Since no .ocx file exists in your system, thats why I request you to reinstall it using IE.

^^ My pleasure. Actually Yahoo! Messenger uses IE as default browser, thats why it was not detecting the flash player. When you installed it using IE, it detected and started working. :)
