The folks at Check Point decided to celebrate the Patch Tuesday in style and announced that they started offering freeware ZoneAlarm Anti-Spyware downloads for all the users. In case you're interested, you should hurry up because the special offer is available from November
13, 2007, 7.00 a.m. to November 14, 2007, 5.00 p.m. PST. ZoneAlarm Anti-Spyware is not the entire ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite but it provides protection for your computer against spyware infections as well as against web attacks through the ZoneAlarm firewall. Moreover, you get one year of free update so your computer will surely remain secure using up-to-date information provided by Check Point.
"Every month, Microsoft offers users patches to update Windows and Internet Explorer to help protect them against newly-discovered product vulnerabilities. But as soon as Microsoft makes their announcement, hackers are already finding ways to exploit users who may not download the patches immediately," Check Point wrote on the main page of the company.
"The security experts behind ZoneAlarm urge you to always patch your operating systems and browsers whenever an update is available. More importantly, take extra precautions to protect your PC for those times when a patch may not be available. That's why we are offering you ZoneAlarm Anti-Spyware for FREE today, Patch Tuesday, only. Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity to protect your PC and stay safe online!"
This is a pretty nice offer because you have the chance to save $29.95, the usual price of ZoneAlarm Anti-Spyware. In addition to this anti-spyware technology, Check Point also rolled out a special price for ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite which can be bought for no less than $39.95 for 1 PC or for $49.95 for 3 computers.
